New Initiatives at the SEC’s Division of Corporation Finance: A Conversation with Director Jim Moloney

Please join us for a wide-ranging conversation with Jim Moloney, Director of the Division of Corporation Finance (CorpFin) at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).  Director Moloney will discuss current CorpFin initiatives, including the Division’s comprehensive review of public company disclosure regulations, the SEC’s proposed rescission of the shareholder proposal rule, and the development of a taxonomy and regulatory framework for crypto assets.

Roberta Romano ’80, YLS Sterling Professor of Law and Center Co-Director, will moderate the conversation.


The Alumni Breakfast is not open to the press.


CLE Credit Available:

Yale Law School has been certified by the New York State Continuing Legal Education Board as an Accredited Provider of CLE programs. One and one half (1.5) CLE credit hours in Professional Practice will be available for this program, which is appropriate for both newly admitted and experienced attorneys. Preregistration is required for CLE credit. You must be present for the entire program to receive CLE credit; we cannot give partial CLE credit for partial attendance.
